I am well versed the the torque till it feels right method of front bearing setup. I am curious though what the book says to torque USED front bearings too. Since I gave my FSM to someone with the same year Cherokee as the FSM I don't have the info handy. Would somebody look it up for me please ?? TIA

hazy memory says:
first nut to 50, spin hub to seat, back off nut, retorque to 35. torque second nut to 35.

i havent heard that method.
method i use:
torque 1st nut to 50 while spinning to seat,back off 1/4 turn.tighten slightly as needed to get the little nub to line up witha hole smile.gif torque outer to 65
