was driving home today and my transmission first was slipping in 3rd then wouldnt drive at all in 3rd. then later on 2nd started to slip then even first failed on me so it will move a whole 50-100ftt before it just quits all together. so now its time to get a rebuilt unit im going to go ahead and build it to handle the 401 later down the road theres a company in shreveport ,la called transmission performance centers has anyone ever used them before? i can take mine and get it rebuilt to level 3 which is way overkill for about 1100. with 1800 rpm stall converter included. i would rebuild it myself but the parts alone add up to about 800. any thoughts? anyone know of 727 offroad specialist?
