I just finished putting 6" lift on 70 Wagoneer and I am having trouble finding longer e-brake things...lol, sorry I dont know what to call them. But they connect to the drum and to mounting point on frame, allowing tension to be put on cable...I need to get parking brake working until I get to the next project of upgrading rear to discs. I have included pics, so hope that helps...

Those look like emergancy brake cables for rear drum breaks. Have you checked BJ's Offroad?

I don't know of anyone that makes longer brackets - maybe someone else does.

I think the later year rigs used a different style e-brake cable that does not require a bracket. At least my '80 J20 does.

Your best bet may be to just go to a good parts store and measure up some cables. Get something long enough to go from the drum to the bracket and have some room left to flex. As long as the end that attaches to your e-brake arm (inside the drum) you should be okay. Try to stay with cables from a vehicle with the same size brakes as yours (it may not matter, not sure but it can't hurt). I'm running GM 14B cables on my Jeep Dana 60 rear with home made brackets.

Or move your existing brackets closer to the drum?

I have a '70 with a 14-bolt.
Those will work just fine.
Unbolt them from the frame, move them back (drill holes), extend your original front cable.

Yes, they have bracket, they are up inside the frame area as opposed to the older ones that hang down on the outside.
