Hello there,
Does anyone know if a steering wheel off a 1972 Commando will work on a Sixty's model full size truck? Just curious cause I may able to use it if it will work. Mine steering wheel has many cracks in it.:(

I don't know about the fit, but I think the Commando wheel is flat like the old Jeeps, not dished like the one on your truck.

It will fit, I thought they where the same wheel as used in FSJ's?

The 1972-73 Commandos used this wheel:

I think it will interchange with a '60's J-series wheel because the steering column is the same. The '67-'71 Jeepsters use the same wheel as the J-trucks and Wagoneers, but switched to this wheel with the introduction of the "bull nose" Commando of '72-'73.

So to answer your question, It's not the same wheel, but it will (should) interchange.
