Well I finally got my '89 GW tuned in to where it was performing like I had been wanting/expecting it to finally, and today was it's first road trip on the highway and I am pleased with the results. Previously I had been getting somewhere between 10-11 MPG on the highway and wasn't expecting much better than this, but on this 300 mile round-trip excursion I averaged over 13 MPG!

It might not be that great but with a 4" lift, 32" Swampers, 3.73 gears, and the A/C blowing cold the whole time at 65-70 MPH I thought that was pretty good. I felt that I needed to share my excitment with my FSJ friends. :thumbsup:

Well heck, You got me beat! Glad for you!! My Cherokee runs 4" Rustys, 33" BFG mud ta's, a ginormous roof rack, 6cyl/4sp and the beautiful and popular 272s!!! I dont think i can do 65! And i dont even venture a guess as to mileage!

Very good. That is what mine got stock going to Colorado in '03. 15 on the way home (down hill all the way to Texas).

It's just madness, only a FSJ owner would be happy with 11-12. LOL!
