Alabama get together pics. (dialup warning)

Well here are a couple pics from today. I didnt get very many because I kept forgetting.

GAchoptop showed up in his wag, and Oddball showed up in his CJ. We waited untill 10 to give anyone else time to show up. Hopefully no one did and then didnt find us. Its a big place.

We had fun, park is a pretty nice place. Its $15 to ride, and a extra 5 for towing insurance. If you get stuck, they can come pull you out. If you dont pay the $5, they charge $35 to pull you out.
Lots of trails, all have signs on them. There is a main road going through the park you use to get everywhere. There are also several map/call stations throughout the park. Each one has a phone to call for help if you get stuck or get hurt. Also each one has a area big enough for med-flight to land if needed.

My little bone stock cherokee didnt do to bad. But I did get stuck a couple times. But, for stock saggy springs, open diffs, swaybar still on, and almost bald 31's. I dont think it did too bad. :D

My jeep decided it wanted to plow up the tree root instead of poping over it.....lol

They pulled me out again and then went around it. Yea, I let it kick my butt.

We took a couple vids, so hopefully they turned out ok. GAchoptop said he would try to get them up in the next few days.

i love the Chop top.

i think jeep missed the boat not making a cherokee with a factory removable top.

i know they had the cj but the FSJ just looks too cool with the top cut

Sure looked like a dang good time! Don't feel too bad that hole looks pretty deep for a stock rig. I bet you would have made it the first time if it weren't for the tree root. :fsj: :thumbsup:

We had a great time:thumbsup: My sons and I were in the red CJ. I wish we had gotten some pics too, but I forgot my camera. Cant wait to see the videos.

Yep, Oddball went through the hole first, after a couple trys he made it. I tried next and well, you see what happened. GAchoptop pulled me out and then went through no problem...lol
What can I say for stock. A couple hills they walked right up, I had to go in WFO, but I made them. Hopefully the video turned out ok. Sun shineing through the trees might have made it hard to foucus.

I will say this. This is really the first time I have gotten to try out the truck avenger, and I must say, it never missed a beat. One hill I was cutting out a bit at the top, but that was because I sucked the fuel out of the bowls faster than the pump could pump it in...lol...it does that on long WFO pulls
