I'm currently running a 4" lift from BDS. I do notice some sag in the rear and the car not sitting completely level. Now i do carry a fair amount of stuff in the rear so my question was...would it really affect me if i put a bigger spring in the rear? and if thats possible should it be an AAL(i'd much rather not do this one) or could i put a 6" spring back there and just have bit of a rake to the truck?

Try a zero rate add a leaf (google it). It'a a 3/4 or 1" (comes in both sizes) block that bolts to the spring pack via the center pin like any other leaf. Won't effect the stiffness of the spring pack but will give you a bit of lift.

I'll see what i can find. Just for kicks though..is it the worst thing in the world if i did the 6" springs in the rear? I would like to up it to 6" next year but the rears could use replacing sooner

There is nothing about it that won't work, so if you have your heart set on it, go for it.

One thing to keep in mind, is that it will reduce your caster angle some, maybe enough to affect the steering, so you might want to install some angle shims up front to get it back.

Personally, I think it'll look a bit funny, especially on a short wheelbase waggy. It is pretty common to see old trucks with the Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley in the air, but that is for load capacity.

if you haul a lot, get air-bags for the rear. That way it'll cover the load when hauling, then air them down when you're not.

Do you have lift springs in the back or blocks? If you have springs I would go with a 1" block kit. Lift springs should be stiffer than stock and not lead to as much axle wrap, probably none if its only an inch. Blocks are the easier then add a leafs too. If they are blocks already then ditch them put your 6" springs in the rear and get lift shackles in front to bring it up a bit to level it out. Just a couple more ideas.
