How much different is a J-10 stearing box from a J-2000 and can you turn sharper in a J-10?

Does your J2000 have a Ross or Saginaw steering box?

If it's a Saginaw box, a J10 box should bolt right in. If it's areound a 79+ the hose fittings will be different though.

You can turn sharper in a J10, but that is because they have open knuckle front axles. Nothing you can do to make yours turn any better then factory (Unless you swap in an O/K axle that is), which is 45' IIRC. I think the J10 is 35 or 37'.
