help tranny died

I was on my way to pick up my folks because we were going to a memorial in my 89 GW.I was running a little late. I was stopped at a light next to a landscaping truck.When the light turned green I accelerated up to about 30MPH when it felt like it popped out of gear. I coasted to the side of the road. The GW has no forard gears only reverse.It's a 727 that was rebuilt at a shop about 2000 miles ago. Fluid level is OK but kind of looks a little brown.

Sounds to me like it would need to go back to the rebuilder. I am no transmission expert but maybe a band broke? Either way it should be under warranty.

sounds like the front clutch pack lip seal blew it might of been cut while it was getting rebuilt ( easy to do )and it just blew from the pressure it will have to go back to the rebuilder so he can change the .13 cent lip seal the front clutch pack is all foreward gears
