Thanks guys,
I did try some new stuff on this one.
Used an adhesive on the 83 inches were I flanged the 1/4 panels all the rest was welded.
The panels ordered from http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/ were very nice and fit well.
The other thing I did was paint the bumper and grill bright work with House-of Kolor Chrome, so I waiting to see how durable that will be.
I was very suprized to find the inner fenders I needed at the dealer and they were happy to get them out of the stock room.

Cool...nice to know those body parts are available. Looks like no Widtrack panels though:(
Nice job on the truck.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen "finished" and "Jeep" in the same sentance...
Nice job, it looks great!

That is one of lifes little victories when you go to get something you think you will have to order and they have it there. About two years ago I went to the dealer to order a neutral safety switch for my 83 mustang convertable, and they had it in stock. You should have seen the dust on that box!

Is it just the pictures, or does the chrome paint look more like a satin stainless finish? Either way, I like it a lot!
Nice work. Good to see one saved for a change.

The complete list of parts that came from BJ’s used on this project
Glove Box Insert Plastic
Side Markers without Bezels: Side Marker Lens Kit 2 Red and 2 Amber
Hood Release Lever and Cable
Door Seal Left Front
Door Seal Right Front
Hood Insulation Kit
Front Door Glass Slide Channels Pair
And for the record.
BJ's is first place I always go for any FSJ parts.
But when I went there to get these panels The shipping would have been $275 to $400. They will cut them in half and it would be a-lot cheaper.
Besides that you did not comment on the photos, what do you think?

That what my Brother said. When he got the first look at it.
The interior is black with a full vinyl floor mat in very good condition.
The dash is in good shape it seems dried out but there are no cracks.
The options’ includes A/C, Power steering, no radio, and intermittent windshield wipers just the basics.
I purchased the Chero form a guy in Ohio Dec 08
He reported that had not been driven for several years. I asked him if he would get it serviced up put a new battery in it and prep it for the trip back to Wyoming.
(He did a great job)
I flew out there on a Wed he picked me up at the airport and I looked over the rig.
He had reported that the ¼’s and rocker were solid with just some minor damage on the one side were his wife had backed in to something. (That’s what they all say)
There was a lot of corrosion noted on the ¼’s and rocker during my inspection.
The frame is solid and I had noted that the frame and undercarriage had been undercoated. So I pulled up the vinyl in some areas the floors looked solid.
But once I climbed in and cranked it up drove it around I knew I had to be an owner.
This has to be the tightest drive train I have experience with in all the jeeps I owned.
Besides since I parked my 87 GW about 2 years ago I have been looking for a 6cyl 4speed NT Chero.
So I talked him into a little better deal but I still paid way too much.
I climbed aboard at 6pm on a Dec night left Ohio and drove straight thru to Douglas Wy.
1550 miles later it was put into the shop and worked to this point.
I averaged 18 MPG on that trip. Is that good or bad?

I'd say 18 is great, considering most of mine get 10-12...

You have completed the step I have had in the planning stage for the last year or so...It is good to see a completed job, good motivation for me to get it done...Very nice job!

That is one very nice looking Cherokee! Great job! I like the color as well as black out on the side panels. At one angle, the entire panel appeared to be the glass in the thumbnail. If I had one that pretty, I would be shopping some indian stripes from TonkaJ200. :)
