Well, I have been trying to get the ole waggy into good running order and discovered that my spark is nice and YELLOW  I've swapped plugs, cap, rotor, points, condenser, checked the wires, new coil (now running Jacob's Ultra coil) adjusted the timing.
Nothing has worked so far. Yeah, it runs a bit better w/ the new parts, but still weak spark :(
I think I read somewhere, here i think, that the coil resistor on the firewall might be the culprit.
Frankly I am confused, so any help will be appreciated.

Maybe just run a hot wire to the coil from the battery and then check your spark. If it is good then you can trace down the resistor. I know it will be hotter with 12 volts but it may not, and this will lead you elsewhere.

Just a thought

The Jacob's Ultra Coil will stand a straight 12 volts, with no problem. With the resistor wire, you're only feeding the coil with about 5 - 6 volts, max. Bump that up to 12v, and you'll get a much more powerful spark.

Just check the voltage at the coil with the ignition switch in the run position. 9-10 volts? Should be a hot spark. With the stock resistor circuit I run about 10 volts at the coil.
