My name is Terri but most call me Crazy and I live in Rapid City, SD. I love offroading and own a 75 Waggy with a 401 and yes, its still quadra trak, one of the weirdest things I have seen. lol I have had Nadia (Yeah, I name my vehicles lol) for about a month and a half now. She's not the first waggy I've owned. My first was actually an 86 Grand Waggy, who treated me well but no longer have. My last wheelin trip last weekend I managed to fry my t case (BLAH) and can't seem to find one in South Dakota, where I'm from. Anyways, its nice to see a fullsize jeep site and hopefully I'll get to know ya all a little bit. If ya have any questions or whatever just let me know...

Welcome Terri! :fsj:
That Wag is familiar. If it is the one I think it is, the previous owner (MOTOX-010) ragged it pretty hard and I am not surprised the QT went out.

I know you can find a Quadratrac here on the forum. It is a matter of how close. I wish you the best in getting it back on the road/trail. :)

If that is his old wag then the interior should be in great shape and dark blue if I remember correct. The rear door passengerside was also hit hard. I wanted to buy it on my trip through Rapid City but didn't for reasons back home..
By the Way WELCOME..
Look around up that way I seen a few old Jeeps around last time. Your old case may be OK if rebuilt with a new chain and seals.. Keep in mind you have a chain driven Jeep at all times. Thrashing the accelerator will only harm it prematurely. It is the best transfer case in my opinion and my uses. Get to know it and you'll love it. Mistreat it and it may take your Jeep's transmission out as well. Those cases will explode when severely worn.

Welcome! That last photo of you on the hood with the jeep sitting in the mud is classic!
Are you planning to trim the fenders like the '88?

Oh and your not the only one that names them. With the personalities these rigs develop, we all have names we call them, some are just nicer then others, LOL.

Thanks for the welcomes. I did buy this waggy from Sawyer (MotoX.) I didn't realize he was part of this site. I found it for sale on 605racing.com. lol The guy that had it before Sawyer left a book of things he has done. So far that I can recall off the top of my head, this guy did a bit of motor work, rebuilt the tranny adn the t case at least once.
Speaking of broken tcase, my boyfriend and I managed to find another one for free.. now my biggest problem is finding tcase fluid that isn't darn near 20 bucks a quart that can get here somewhat quick.
Brandon (AKA 63fordf100) and I have talked about trimming the fenders like he did. I plan on it but I don't know how much trimming I want to do. Personally I think his truck looks pretty good especially after the lift.

TCL1 is a much cheaper QuadraTrac fluid than the Mopar stuff and is available from BJs Offroad.
