I installed an edelbrock intake and carb. Thought I'd been having trouble getting it to seal. Tried the dollar bill at the tail pipe and it sucks it in so I guess I got a stuck valve. Am I gonna have to rebuild the heads or is there an easier fix?

I had heard this could be caused by a loose timing chain...could be thinking of something else though.

I axed the same question a while back and IIRC, the answer was to run a cylinder compression test on it.
Sorry....

No doubt, burnt valve, no cheap fix, bite the bullet.
Umm, but maybe Rislone would work or maybe Marvel Mystery oil. Maybe wishing on the first star you see tonight...

I had a stuck lifter internals that was holding an exhaust valve open not to long ago. Add to that my cam was shot.
Do a Comp. check and pull the valve covers to see whats going on under there.

Dollar bill trick will only tell you if an exhaust valve is burnt, and it does work well. ;)
