Hood release lever for Rhino grille on '78 Cherokee

There is a Rhino grille on its way to me smile.gif

Now I have to figure out how I'm going to release the hood catch with that grille. The stock horizontal lever is just not going to work with the new grille.

I'd like to hear what other people have done for a hood release when they've installed a Rhino grille. An inside release cable is beyond what I'd like to do.

Bob, did you get that grill locally or is it being shipped from outside "the biggest little"...I need to get my hands on one of those.

It's coming from Oregon (10 days via UPS "Turtle Express"; I can't wait!). There are none locally. And when I say that, I literally mean that there are no junkyards local to this state that have any early Wags or J-trucks with such a grille.
