Any ideas as to how much it costs to ship a pick-up truck about 800 miles?

I was quoted about $900 for a 1500 mile trip from Boise Idaho to Kansas City Missouri. Another company quoted me a price of $1200.

I just shipped my Wagoneer from Oregon to NYC for $1K with insurance. They quoted 9-14 days, but it took 3 weeks due to the holidays and weather. They also broke two turn signals and seem to be easy to deal with on that matter.

If it doesn't need moved right away you might contact a heavy equipment transport co. alot of times they are empty one way and will give you a deal but you have to wait for the oppurtunity.

Those prices seem a liitle high. I shipped my '83 Chero from Little Rock to Mass for $700 last summer. Smooth transaction, can't remember the shipping Company though. redface.gif
