TH400 Transmission

This is my first round with the TH400 transmission. Is the transmission retaining bolt supposed to let the filter sort of float and not hold it tightly against the body?

I second that Yep.
Since you got the fluid out replace the o ring on the modulator (the vacuume thingy with the vacuume hose).. mine started leaking after i changed the filter.
