Plastic Gas Tank Source

While working on my brake lines I had to pull the gas tank to get to the main line from front to back out. Just as well since I needed to replace the sending unit. Surprise when I found out that the top had many pin holes from the rust!

Anybody know who sells a plastic replacement tank for J trucks? ('79 J20 to be exact). I found a metal replacement for up to '77 but nothing later.

Just tell 'em you need the '79 gas tank with a new sending unit...might as well get all new sending unit parts.

for a second there i thought you where goan say you needed a tank for an 80's J-Truck. Wouldhave had to imform you that none exist. But for the 79, you can get it from BJ's offroad.
