Just some pics of booming the body off the truck and into a raised warehouse across town. It was awesome. Neighbors must think I am crazy. Big ole boom truck blocking half the street and lifting jeep parts 20ft in the air.

Looking for suggestions on:
A: Rust removal
B: Lasting chassis paint

I love working on this thing. Beer, boom truck, air tools.
Can life get any better? :D

Glad to see I'm not the only crazy one here. I took my stripped frame and axle housings to a place that refinishes things from semi cab's down to a little bracket size parts. They blasted and epoxy primered all the parts, then top coated the frame and housings with an industrial gloss black top coat. I'll post some pics here shortly of my J20 build.

Was that overly pricey to have it blasted and painted? That sounds like the way to go. I have a pretty meager Jeep budget though. Yeah I would love to see a picture of your frame and housings all painted up.
