Mucho thanks to all of ya for your suggestions, and to Lindel for walking me through some wiring issues like I was in pre-school. They still need to be adjusted, but heck, they are on there AND they actually work!
I've got the round hellas going to a toggle inside, t hey work whenever I want them to work, high beam, low beam, just parking lights on, etc.
The rectangular Hellas work off of the factory wiring. I did it all by myself!

The toggle was a challenge. The place I decided to put it in is super thick plastic. There is also a place directly above that area where the light bulb goes for the heater and A/C controls and I didn't wanna screw that up.
Even after drilling the hole, I had to get behind there with a dremel and sort of bezel out the area where the back of the toggle sits so that I'd have thread to grab onto from the face side.

Yea its very dusty in there right now!!
I went out and got a different toggle because I don't like the cheap ones that come in the Hella kits. Plus, they're ugly and ya have to drill a huge hole!

THANX! I'm glad you guys like it, I'm pretty proud of that project. :D I suck at wiring, and to have it actually working with a lot of help from Lindel-I am STOKED about that!!
Sure, I figured I could do a premiere showing of the new Star Trek, right on the side of my house!
Hella headlights coming soon, (Euros) but I gotta wait though, I just had an unexpected bump in the road with my shocks.

not bad.will be great at night.good job on the mounting/layout,looks very balanced. i'd lose the covers on the lights before you cook em by clicking the lights on inadvertantly, you won't know with the covers on.

Very nice! I assumed you used a factory set of brackets for the one pair of lights, what did you use for the other pair?

Yup, factory brackets for the 550's.
The round ones (500FF's) I mounted directly to the bumper. (I have power tools and I'm not afraid to use them.) :D

Thanks for the kudos, everyone! No I can't wait to drive at night and see what I've got, especially with where I live...no ambient light, no light pollution and no street lights, oughtta be AWESOME when we have a new (no) moon!!
And Lindel thanks! I thought long and hard (days, actually) about where to put that toggle, seemed the only logical place.
I figured if I messed up bad, I have "donor controls" in the '88. Just couldn't find any place else to mount it without chopping the dash up, and didn't have the $$ to spend on a light control thing that I could mount under the dash.

Wait.... You mean here is supposed to be a light behind the heater/ac controls? Mine have been dark since I bought the dang thing and I stupidly just assumed they failed to put backlights on it. So now I have to take my dash apart!

I had that exact same set up on mine before I made the new bumpers. For the switches, I used a couple of factory one in the slots at the base of the steering wheel on my 88
