I would like to know what i need to run 35's on my j10. i have 32's on it now and they came with the truck and i was wondering what are the stock tires that were on it to begin with. i think there is a body lift of some sort on it now but I don't know since I got the truck for free. It would sure help out alot since i'm a highschool kid that just wants bigger and better.

31 x 10.5 x 15 tires are stock

32's will fit on stock aswell
so you might not have a lift.

some guys say 33s will fit on stock aswell with slight rubbing.

the stock rims are 15 x 8.

and welcome!

you could fill the bed of your J-10 with knowledge you will gain here.

Ps. free .....J-10 way to go.

lug pattern for new rims is:

6 x 5.5

just got that info today.

if you do get a lift and 35's you will need wider than stock rims.

i believe 15 x 10?
some of the high-lifted FSJers will know better.

*" wide rim is perfectly fine for a 12.50 wide tire. I actually prefer a 8" rim with 12.50's as it keeps you from popping a beed as easily when aired down.

There were optional sizes; 10R-15LT the biggest, which is like a 31X10.50X15. The base would have been like a H78-15, or like a 225 - 235 75R15.

My stock J-10 "Timex" had 33s on it for quite a while. It's got 31s on it now but I will be getting a set of 33s again after I regear it.

You can get 33x10.5 or 33.95 BFG MTs, and the Super Swamper LTB comes in a 34x10.5 size as well.
These narrower tires will minimize any rubbing that may occur.

Bigger tires will rob power unless the axle gearing is changed to accomodate them (or the engine is modified to produce the extra power needed)
