I imagine you could cut the fenders and quarters and make them fit. TJ flares would probably be your best bet. They would give you the most clearance. Only thing would be the back door.

Way too much $$$, find stock TJ Wrangler flares at a junkyard, or buy them off the message forum on www.jeepsunlimited.com (http://www.jeepsunlimited.com)

why use TJ ones when you can use XJ? XJ needs some trimming to fit to the body but I think it would be less work.. Someone here just recently put XJ bushwackers on...

stock for stock, XJ flares have smaller openings than TJ or YJ flares. I know people who remove the flares from their XJs to run TJ flares, and trim the wheel-opening out considerably.

He used WT axles though. Not sure if they make them for 2 door xjs, I haven't found them yet.
The rears have the slice in them for the rear door.
The pic sites won't work in the link, but the project page is still up.

Those Bushwackers in Heimekin's wag look cool. I'm guessing they'd be easier to fit than CJ's or TJ's since these Jeeps have flat side panels and once you are done with the trimming you won't have much flare left.

If the Bushwackers are made of PVC, PE, PP or other thermoplastic, they can be welded, you only need to find out the type of plastic to use the correct weld rod.

Why not use the stock flares?

Yes they make them for 2dr XJs

Here are his pics (hope ya don't mind Heimekin, i put 'em up on my space to show these people)
