Is there a source for the outer taolgate weatherstrip? Couldn't find it at BJ's or ebay.
If not is there a recommendation for something to apply to make the existing one more pliable?
Thanks.

Try these two outlets. I have bought several items from the first link and they have excellent communications, quality parts and lightning fast shipping.

Bought a full set from TGW.
Just FYI, the inner will work but it is an incorrect piece. It is too short and doesn't look like the stock one. And it is just a touch off-center.

I gotta say-since I found BJ's a few years back-if I know they've got it, I don't even look anyplace else. Prices are fair, AWESOME customer service, fast shipping, QUALITY products specifically for our rigs-questions answered whenever I've asked...what more can ya ask for!

Due to arrive any day and I will post how it works out. More worried about the exterior replacements. I will be lubing the window tracks, door locks etc as part of this.
I bought it for my 16 year son to drive to HS. Will post pics sometime soon. 87 GW with 81K miles, new tires, all new tune up with wiring, $1500. Only major leak was the fuel pump gasket was installed upside down. Has some small leaks of course. Starts and runs great. Major problems are AC doesn't work and ASC sunroof is dead and it needs a new headliner. Was I crazy?

Let's put it this way, you really have to have a passion for them, it's a love/hate relationship mostly.

Installed the outer felts from TGW today, including opening the tailgate and lubing what I could get to. How do you lube the runners/rollers as they are on the opposite side of the opening?
All of the pieces are cut from the same stock, unlike the originals as I see it, I could be wrong though. Anyway I did not install the inners as the tailgate piece was short and off center. The remaining 4 pieces had the clips in the wrong position. Probably should have sent them back but I was in the mood to open the tailgate and replace all the outers.

FYI, we're only another month or so out on ours, with all the clips in the right spot and cut to the correct length
