the running lights seem to have given up for the night.
my running lights and interior dash lights both don't come on. brake lights, headlights, hi-beams, turn signals, and hazard lights all work though.
when i have a turn signal on, and i brake, then the turn signal keeps flashing normally. but with the hazards on, and i brake, then the turn signal lights (running lights) all stay lit while i'm braking.
I checked the connection to the headlight switch, seemed ok.. what/where should i check next? Thanks

I had a problem similar to this. Except mine was with the tail light turn signals. When I had a turn signal on and I would push the brake pedal, the turn signal would just shine constantly like a brake light. I replaced the taillight bulbs and my problem was fixed. When's the last time your tail light bulbs were replaced? They're inexpensive, I think they were about 3 dollars for the 2 pack if I remember correctly. If you don't know when/it's been a while since your tail light bulbs were replaced, I'd start there. Hey, even if that's not the problem, you can always use new tail light bulbs, right? :D -Zach

thanks Zach, hadn't thought of that, but the easiest troubleshooting is the best! I recently changed one, but I'll do the other one..

I think I had the same problem a few years ago but it was the front marker light that was bad instead.

I was troubleshooting something simaler today...Cept it was my backup lamps...I traced the the wires all the way back to the neutral safty switch on the tranny...Just that wasent it...If new lamps do not work check the inside of the sockets...Mine were rusted and not providing a good ground...I was only reading 3 to 5 volts in the socket and 12 to 14 at the splice...Just a thought..
