Came across this on eBay. Seemed like a good deal for a tune up kit. Was concerned about parts quality. What do you think?

They do say "Fit and Quality Guaranteed!" but then say that all sales are final except for defects and mistakes. So, it looks like their definition of quality is "not defective." I expect the parts would be fine and that they would work ok, but don't expect anything better than generic, inexpensive parts.

I checked the my local Bumper To Bumper Auto Parts store. For their "average" PartsMaster brand their price was about $52 bucks. For the premium stuff (Standard Ignition, Wix filters) it ran about $88 bucks. For the money I would try a local parts store (Napa, Bumper To Bumper, Auto Value). Most of these guys will have a premium brand and average brand depending on your needs. Also, if there is a problem they will be alot easier to deal with. These stores are more likley to have a guy behind the counter who actually knows what a carb is and that there is no such thing as muffler bearings (unlike the Zone).

hmmm...they talk an awful lot about what kind of feedback they want and what they will and wont do about defects and returns. but not once do they say anything about the brands or what exactly you get. in my opinion...go to your local parts store.
