so since this is pretty much since this is tx forum, i jus thought we talk about the crazy weather,

everyday since friday it has been nice and sunny in the morning and noon and raining in the afternoon till nights. it started again yesterday but this time it was really bad, it stopped for a little bit but then started up again right around 3 am, now its flooding all over houston, usually takes me 30 min to get to my school, today it took me an hour, bayous and streets were flooded, cars flooded everywhere, and my jeep in the shop. good thing i have a truck to drive for now, but a few times i felt like i was driving a boat. 11 inches the last i heard, if any of you reside in houston be careful

Supposedly we only got 4 in here in beaumont, but i think the gauge was off due to it raining sideways! Been really wet for sure. but the central areas of the state are finally out of their drought conditions, so ill take the rain as it comes.

yea my aunt has been waiting for the drought to end, and the burn bans to be lifted, she has like 10 piles of wood to burn from trees and branches to some fences blown down by the hurricane

I haven't had enough rain to measure in a rain gauge in months and it's been so windy i haven't fished in weeks. My water bill is around 160 a month. I pay more for the wastewater than the water usage and it's mostly going to my grass, there is no wastewater???? Seriously considering a well. I am in Corpus/ Padre Island.

figured i update our section a little, so its kinda hot out here, i was workin and company van broke down so we took my moms expediton, which has a outside temp, while driving it said 108 degrees out, this heat sucks, and getting into attics for work is even worse, it was 135 in an attic i was in,
