Although not perfect I am getting close
I know how hard these are to find and thanks to Jaber I got out of a ticket because I had a badly broken drivers side
Anyway I have a little time on my hands these days and said screw it and went on to make my own lens
The one on the right is jeep stock
the left is the first fabricated and I believe the next few will come out much much better
If there is any interest in a set of these let me know and I could make you up a set cheap
Like I said the one in the pic was a test, and I learned what not to do so others will be pretty nice
oh! the backup piece will be there as well

If you think this is a waste of time please say so

If the quality is good, I don't think you'll have ANY problem selling these!

Does the inside of the lens have the reflector grooves like the original?

inside of lens a mirror image of original j lens exact, no difference
as far as mold they are exactly the same
even has the part # number cast into it

Nice, for $25 I would not mind having a NICE set of replacements on the shelf to keep all my cracked and filthy junkyard spares company<g>.

I will take a set when you get them ready to sell. Put me on your list.

They look good. How did you make them?

If I had a J-truck from that era, I'd definitely buy a set.

I was looking for a set used and a member here added a link to a site,
300.00 later
Actually it's a major PITA, lot of trial and error
it's coming along, after the initial cost I can do about 40-60 lenses per mold, the molds for both sides are about 150.00 worth of silicone
a quart of resin will make about 3 sets of two
Actually I got laid off about a month ago and have been bored, so I figured what the hell

Plus I'd be helping a brother out in return win - win in my book.
