My transfer case is leaking but, I can't quite figure out from where. The fluid appears at the bottom and plops all over my driveway (along with oil and radiator fluid but that's another story). It's not from any of the shaft or shifter seals so I believe that it is from the seam of the two halves. The DSPO supposedly had it refurbished around 15k miles ago and it looks pretty new. However, if I pull it out and reseal the halves, what should I use. From looking at it, it doesn't look like the halves fit together all that well. Also, could it be cracked? If so, how can I tell? It leaks the most after I've driven the vehichle for a while and it's hot.

It's ATF. Or at least that's what I pump into it every now and then. I'm thinking about putting in some of that stop leak stuff but, I'm not sure that it will make a difference since it's not leaking at the seals.

The halves are sealed with black silicon sealant and you can buy it at any parts store. The bad news is you must remove the unit and place it on its end to prevent all the needle bearings from becomeing dislodged when you crack the halves. the good news is it can be done without having to remove the guts if you follow the correct proceedures.
