I know that this may have been covered before, probily many times, but I do not want to search for it..yes lazy.
87 waggy, 229t-case.
4 high works just fine, but can not get it in 4low.
I have tryed all the tricks/combos that I have read about. still nothing.
Used to have no problems with it, then had motor changed(do not get me going on this one) had all kinds of vac problems, I corrected them all finaly.(farovite was the wiper fluid line hooked to the back of the carb)
Could get it to go in to 4low, was a pain in the rear but it would go, but now I can not get it to even try, I have no problems with my other wagons, (well other then the 89 were the shifter linkage fell off thanks to the stupid body lift)
I am not sure if the aculator has went bad, I know that the lines are not broke, I replaced them 2times, thanks alot repair shops...
tips on how to check the aculator, or on how to get the stupid thing into 4 low, had to have a ford pull me out the other day, got into a wet spot with a car trailer and no go, not a good sign when a ford pulls a jeep...
like I said 4x4 works great in high, just can not get the dang thing into low...
