yep,you read that right. on board air is popular, and very useful. both i and my xj friend have very functional OBA systems, and kryel will prolly make one for his cj. weve got another xj friend that will prolly want to do it as well.

at any rate,in our little cluster of wheelers, its kinda overkill for everyone of us to have OBA. weve been helping another guy build an xj(my frineds love them little cheros! http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif ) and we pretty much left him no option that his bumpers were not going to hold air.

we put fittings on each for filling, connected them together, put a hose and blow gun on the rear, and a female fitting on the front to hook an airhose form one of our OBAs to pressurise.

maybe we are nuts, but those whove ever clogged up ther radiator with mud,or poopped a tire off the bead in the mud and need to rinse it off will certainly appreciate the usefulness. not to mention potential showers if we could sanitize it alittle http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

anyway,we gt it hooked up and workin tonite. both bumpers hold bout 7.5 gal or so.doesnt sound like alot, but it was shooting a stream of water about 20 feet in the air http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif for what seemed like forever-plenty of time to clean out radiator or rinse off your windshield.

it was really cool. we also made a T hose so that we can connect our jeeps together and use both compressors and all air storage together. made his die grinder work like a champ, and didnt take any time at all to enlarge a couple of holes towbar mounting brackets.
