My p***enger side window keeps falling off track if I shut the door to hard. The clip that holds the slide in the track fell off. Does anyone know where to get another or is there a good substitute?

I wish I knew, but I got a window question of my own http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif..I have a 2 dr. and both my windows are missing those felt Barriers where the gl*** meet the doors. And then the rain proceeds to rust out the corner of my door and soak the rug..where can I find them, and if not what vehicle can i "Borrow" them from thanx l8tr...
Maybe wire, tack weld, super glue.. http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

What a great idea! My back window can use one of those. Mike, I got my gl***(felt)guides from JC Whitney's. I got the universal stuff and it worked great.
OK this is really stupid that you can't spell G*L*A*S*S*. When did this take affect?

Adam needs to switch to decaf. Or get a dictionary and look up "context".

Bryant,
Do you mean the washer-like clip, about 1 inch, with the key-hole shape hole in it?
If you do, please let me know what you find out, cause I have a problem with that one too.

Those clips are available from Jeep for some ungodly price (~$6/ea!).
I've scrounged a bunch from parts-trucks; the same clip (it's round, with a cross-shaped opening in the center with four little "fingers" that grab the groove in the post at the end of the window-lift arm) is used on all manual doors and on all tailgates, power or not. I ordered two from the Jeep dealer, before I realized I had a bunch of them on-hand in the doors I had taken from a parts-truck.
Unless the clips are rusted, they can usually be scavenged from parts-trucks. It would be interesting to find out if this clip was just a standard trim part you could get in the "HELP!" line of products (there's a high probability to that, given Jeep's practice of borrowing parts).

I wish it was so easy, Bob; but I'm afraid it's not !
The ones on my Wag, and I think pc has the same, have a key hole shape opening. They were probably used till about '72.
I took one to the main Jeep parts supplier in Holland. They had never seen it before.
