does anyone know where I can get an adapter to fit a 2150 on a Edelbrock Performer manifold?.............
beofre I get any strange comments I will tell you why............I do a lot of remote camping and want to make sure if my EFI has problems that I can get out of the desert.......instead of carrying a bunch of spare parts for the EFI which are quite costly I was thinking it would be easier to just pull the throttle body off and put my old 2150 back on......and then I would just bypass my EFI fuel pump and voila! back in business!

You're weird.
Any sane FSJer would just sit in the desert and tinker until the problem fixed itself. Just carry more water, it's cheaper.

I am talking serious malfunctions!!........you know when the smoke escapes from the ECU? If someone knows how to catch the smoke and put it back in, I would love to hear how!!!.I learned a bunch of years ago that the smoke is the most important part of an electrical item....once the smoke escapes the electrical part never works again!!!!.........
Why not just carry an edelbrock 4bbl carb? They're just $225-250, depending on the model. A lot cheaper than the spare fuel injection parts and it's guaranteed to fit on the manifold.
But, if you must use the 2bbl, you must use an adapter plate. If one isn't made, you must fabricate one. Take a piece of steel and tap the holes for the manifold studs so you can bolt it to the manifold. Then tap the holes for the carb bolt pattern and cut two holes for the carb to line up with. Attach the plate to the manifold and attach the carb to the plate. For my money, however, it would be faster and easier to just buy the 4bbl carb.

Look in Summit or Jegs. I thought I saw a 2 to 4bbl conversion adapter last night when I was thumbing throught and dreaming.

Sounds like a great back up plan.
You need a hunk of aluminum. And a drillpress and a 5/16-18 tap.
Sears sells hole saws that should work for you for the bores.
This could also be usefull for those that need to put the stock carb back on to pass smog if you put on a big bad 4bl. :D

Spectre makes them part #5772 $19.99 at Checker Auto, I think they are afilliated with Auto Zone. Anyhow they make them and are readily available. ;)

I think the best suggestion above is to carry a carb that will already fit. An Edelbrock or Carter AFB is much simpler to correctly install and tune than a 2150.
Also, to keep the smoke in the ECU, just blow. Blow really hard. If that doesn't work to your satisfaction you can drill a small hole in one side of the ECU, attach a straw, and suck. Suck really hard.

I forgot one piece of important data........I already have a 2150 that came off the FSJ......and it is highly unlikely that I will need it...I already carry a spare fuel pump, MAF sensor, Ignition pickup....the only thing I do not have a spare for is the ECU......so I do not want to spend a bunch of coin for something that will most likely not be needed....this is strictly to get me out of the desert and get me home.....unless someone has a spare 4 barrel tuned for a FSJ tat they want to part with???>>>>>
