Ok I was trying to sell or trade my GW. Well the guy comes to trade this morn. and I started it and reved it twice and the a lovely noise starts from the bottom end. Sounds like a wrist pin or spun bearing nice knocking noise. SO.... Do i part it then scrap or do I try to sell as a whole. It really is a nice ride one really small spot of rust. It still will start just noisy. What would you do? Me putting anymore money in it is not an option.

Put some 35s, an SOA kit and high steer on it and leave it at my house... I'll take it off your hands.

Just reduce the price a little and sell it as is. I bought mine with some noise, turned out to be a cracked flexplate.

Same thing with my '89 only it was an exhaust leak.

How much money can be made by parting this rig out? Lots of goodies could equal a couple bucks.?

find a 360 for little money and swap it in........

Next choice is to sell it with the knock but unless you pull the pan or know for sure what is wrong, I'd not give an opinion. I'd just say it knocks....

But I would not scrap it........

Yeah this is way to clean to part or scrap..... but if i can make some money by parting that could be an option.

Im leaning towards parting.. I need a good steering box for my CJ and I could use the rear 44 for it also. But the body is so darn nice and the wood is perfect.

pull the pan, you can have a brand new crank in it for most likely under $400

if you do part it, how much for a front right fender? :p

I really cant afford to put 1 more dollar in it. Pm me an offer im trying to see what things will be bought for before I start parting. I will decide after this weekend.
