I can help you with an idea for a good 1 1/2" lift for the back with the use of a 2 1/2" chevy leaf cut to fit in the existing spring pack ...add a 1 1/2 lift block in the front...the results have proven very satisfactory for me...email me if you are interested...

I'm going to be installing BJ's Offroad 4" system. I'm running 32MTs and think that 1 more inch in the rear will keep me from rubbing (with a bit of trimming).

But a lift block with a spring under (factory) set-up would lower the Jeep. So are you talking spring over and a lift block? What's that 9" plus the springs?
If you reverse the whole set-up, it makes more sense - lift block in the rear and lift springs up front. Not to mention the old "no lift blocks in the front" rule.

Sorry...I did the 1 1/2 in the back with the leaf spring. It really is great...to give me a bit more support when towing...Thought that adding a lift block in the front (which I haven't done) would work...but as usual you guys are too sharp for me...and I am a horses a## !!!! But why can't you add a block between the spring and ...oh yea....never mind
i use the 4in lift and 1.5 block from superlift to run 32" bfg mt's .

kreb...
Your set-up is **** close to where I'm headed - 4" springs, 32 MTs (already on with 3" springs). The 4" system will be on in a couple weeks.
Did you do anything additional up front? Shackle?
How does your rig sit? Level? 1.5" higher in rear?
Thanks!

I have seen any 1" blocks before. I have seen 2" blocks though. Which my cherokee has had on it sincce I got it. Axle wrap isnt to bad, and it lets me haul tuff back there without the back sagging. (that is when i used to haul stuff)
i think stock, the jeeps might have looked higher in the front to begin with. my wag always sagged so i don't know what it should look like. but with the 4" lift it looked like i only got 3.5 in the rear. the 32's rubbed on the outside where the tire is closest to the inside of the wheel well and the top corner of the tread closest to the outside of the vehicle. i am using WT wheels from a cherokee. now the rig looks slightly higher in the rear. but i don't original frame to floor height stock to current. good luck. i am open for more q's if you have them

Manhattan, you can run the 4" lift, the 32's, and trim a little bit. You won't need the lift blocks. Check out RamjetFSJ's website, and see how he did his (it's the same setup as mine, and as your's will be).
