So I went to look at a J20 this morning at a Jeep dealership, after I intmidated the salesman by putting on my coveralls and crawling under 1 side and out the other (leaking front and rear main seal, NP208 t-case, and DANA 60 full floater rear) I took it out for a test drive, it was hesitnet off the line, but pulled ok, really acted like it needed a tune up. Got about 2 miles from the dealership and it backfired and died :eek: . It woudl not start or even fire, the only sound I could hear was the price dropping :D .

Waiting for them to call with the conclusion (my guess is the ignition module), then the negeotians can begin. My friend with me came up with the if I buy it - "J-turd"

$3995 list. - dealership
They did not want to hagle on price until they pulled it in to check it over.
Should have offered $1000 as is where it sits and whent and got a tow bar.
It had no spark, and I have an MSD 6a box looking for a home.....

Body has typical rust piples around the fender flares, driver side rear corner below the light has a rust hole, and 1 spot right below the driver side vent that the floor is rotted, but the rest is solid.

Part of me hopes someone else will swoop in and buy it quck so I don't have to explain it to the wife:D .
Otherwise as long as they are willing to deal on it, it will be mine :drivin:

Anyone have a souce for visors? - I want a brow, even a poor man's aftermarket.
