I've noticed that some of you have taken off your dash pad. Mine's all curled up and wavy from a windshield leak. I'm going to replace my window seals soon because both are leaking a little, but if I take the pad off will it mess up the windshield seal even more? '72

mine didnt even harm it the dash pad seemed to be slipped underneath the seal its pretty simple to take off there are nuts that go to metal brackets all along the underside you will have holes were the brackets go through some are a PITA to get to but it took me about 30 min to do my dash pad came out in pieces i would say the way yours sounds it will too

My Wagoneer had no dashpad when I bought it, and I don't plan on installing one. I like the old school rounded steel dash just fine! ;)

What about the speaker hole on the top of the dash. Does that look like crap?
