I've also been thinking about that.

I've got a set of 17" wheels that came off of my sisters '06 Toyota Tacoma, they are the same lug pattern but back spacing is all wrong. I don't know about the Tundras but with Tacoma wheels you will need to get some spacers.
Also I know that the Tacoma wheels are very narrow so it would look a little weird if you were going to run wide mud tires.
P.S. Anyone want to buy some 17" Tacoma wheels???

b.s. isn't the same, and the fronts will most likely have to be drilled out for the larger hub on the FSJ. But, worth a call to an aftermarket wheel company

I know the 17s off of my sisters Tacoma fit over the hubs on the front with room to space on my '79 J10.
If I was still going to use 34x10.5 LTBs I would use the 17s, but they are too narrow in my opinion for 12.5 wide tires. Toyota has some sweet looking stock wheels though, definitely worth looking into.

I picked up some 17s off of a Nissan. They looked great but the backspacing was wrong, so the rear tire rubbed the springs. Also the studs were too short. I sold them and am currently looking for something else. I didn't want to run wheel spacers.

thanks for the input, i was also thinking toyota would fit better than a nissan wheel. my j10 is my dd, looking at somewhere around 285/75or85 in either 17 or 18" wheel would be bout right for me.
