Sorry, this isn't for my truck, but how do you test a windshield washer motor? The one on my car doesn't work anymore, but the wiper/washer switch needs replacement. I just don't want to but a motor if it's the switch... $80.00... looking for a boneyard one, but inspection is this month! Thanx for the help! Jim
WOW, your required to have working windshield washers in MA?
Man that's harsh.
Sorry that didn't help ya, I've never had a vehicle where they did work.

Just run a jumper wire from the battery to the moter and see if it pumps. Some of them you can take the pump apart and clean out the buildup in them and get them to work again.

Yea, tadsal, the're *****ey about stupid things. It's all about original equipment.... it all has ta work! However, before I replaced the motor in my J-10, it smoked like a crop duster..... to old, pass! Ya think the're really worried about emissions, or just the almigty buck? And thanx wolf, I'll try that. If I can just replace the switch, and not the pump too, tha'd be good! By the way....hummmm, the washers work perfect in the J-10!!!! If only everything else did too!!
